Who are these videos for, anyway? French women? North American women? "Western" women in general? Maybe she's picking up on regional styles around the US and/or EUrope, but outfits like that purple number aren't anything I've seen women 60+ wearing. Maybe in Florida or the Mid-West?
Tunics canlook nice on some older women. It is really all about proportion. Billowy tunics can swallow a woman who is under 5'6".

CHICOS clothes are very flowy and billowy. I tried them and I was lost in them. The clothes were just too flamboyant for me.

I want to wear the clothes - not have the clothes wear me.

This is a lower priced, online shop. Most of the ankle length and capris are tailored. They are affordable and in a variety of sizes.

The small wedge sandals are delicate. They aren't my taste, but they are not offensive. The small wedge in one that most women could walk in. https://www.chadwicks.com/ShopCatego...?ID=519%2c5582

They call this a tunic, but I think it's a little shorter. I think it's tasteful and youthful. It would look nice with a variety of capris or ankle length tops. https://www.chadwicks.com/itemdy00.a...1=HD902+POLS+S

Here's a cute set of 100% cotton shirts that would look nice with ankle length (which I prefer) and capri pants.

LONG TUNICS are not proportionate to a capri pant or shorths. A Tee shirt would be better.

Here's a nice popover top that could look good with capris - https://www.chadwicks.com/itemdy00.a...1=HD902+POLS+S

Here is a print tunic with a palm frond motif. If you want a print, palms, and abstracts are good summer alternatives.

I actually like this tunics. But NOT WITH BOXY CAPRIS! - https://www.chadwicks.com/itemdy00.a...1=HD879+BKWM+S

Taller women may like this - https://www.chadwicks.com/itemdy00.aspx?T1=HD886

It could look good on the right woman. But not with BOXY CAPRIS.

Not much difference between capri length and cropped length in those photos. Capris should be shorter.

A hot weather alternative to shorts and capris, for me, would be cotton gauze wide legged pants. Feminine and flowy. Indians know how to dress in muggy, hot weather. There used to be a great Indian shop near me. I bought lots of colorful gauze tops, sundresses and pants over the years. Modern designs, not ethnic.

I think that's a wonderful, and cool alternative. With wider leg pants back on trend, it's perfect for this summer.

In fact. I have bought myself a pair with a matching modified crop too. They will look great with espadrilles and sandals.

I am really not a fan of ANY "capris". When they hit women in the middle of the calf, they chop the body at a very unflattering place.

I am also a fan of sundresses. I personally hate capris. Well, most of them.

I seek out blouses made from Indian cotton as I love the feel. It's a thin fabric that drapes well. Any suggestions as to where to look for the pants?

This is very cute! but for me, being short, I need either a smaller print, or a solid top. Wearing that tunic with a pair of fitted pants looks super nice IMO>

I am 5'3" and I would not wear it either, but I thought it was pretty - for someone.

There are some inexpensive and OK clothes in this catalog. Not designer or investment pieces.

They classify "capris" in a number of lengths. Including about 2" above the ankle. When it come to capris, the boxy mid-calf one's flatter no one.

Look into wide leg gauze pants, sun dresses, or regular shorts. Capris in the mid-calf boxy variety, don't hide a thing.
