I was just complaining in my head that t-shirts seem to more cropped now, and I'd really enjoy the happy medium between tunic and crop-top.
They really don’t take into consideration torso length when making tops. I am long waisted and struggle to find tops that don’t sit right at my waistline.
This! And I should know, since I was one of those people! But now, after having lost almost 1/3 of my heaviest weight, I like my t-shirts a bit shorter and more form-fitting. I don't tuck my shirts in though, so I don't mind a little bit of extra length. And even if I did tuck in I suppose the extra length could be helpful with that too!
I wish they were even longer! Most are barely long enough to tuck in if you want to. Crop tops are really popular. Not my thing at my age but there was a time when I wore them....back in my youth.
You all are apparently not shopping at stores like Marshalls's, TJMAXX or even Kohl's. I miss the stores that actually had REAL petite sizes. I hate Macy's anymore since they decided to remove the Petite section and put it in w/ the regular by brand.
The past few years womens' t-shirts have been too short, imo. I was getting tired of wasting my money. Just last summer I found tanks that are long for layering. And just last month I found some tees that are longer.

I buy a few new Ts in different colors every year from JCPenney because they have Tall for women. There is always some sale or code or whatever.
When they get old and out of shape, they become pajama tops.
