It's actually made in Ireland and that's important to me. I'm tempted to order some other styles!
I'm not a fan of cold weather but it's coming whether I like it or not. I wear sweaters a lot and keep the heat turned down to 65. My collection includes some wonderful cashmeres bought decades ago- the oldest in 1983 bought in London. I dread when those are no longer wearable- they were expensive and wonderfully thick and I will NOT buy Made in China.
In March I bought an alpaca poncho from the lady who wove it in Bolivia. Vermont Country Store has ponchos, too. We'll see!
I love shetland wool sweaters. They were very popular in the 1970s/1980s and are not common these days. But you can find them at higher end men's clothing stores such as JPress:

Try vegetable cashmere...like the former Oakland ballet dancer & founder of KD New York just created. It's super soft & breathable....AND made from soy. It's even machine washable but just as luxurious feeling. Apparis has vegan cashmere knits too.
AND...Stella McCartney has Re.Verso....recycled & sustainable cashmere.
