We had a lot of very *heavy winds* last night here on Biggs. We had to go out and take in some of the Halloween decor (inflated witch). Over by the shopette the large tent that has a hard frame was completely destroyed and our lawn furniture was out in the middle of the back yard area in the morning. (Thank goodness for stone walls!).

Only a sprinkling of rain though.

I didn't know it got so cold here in El Paso so early into the fall season.

What a surprise! I had been acclimated to Cen Tex (it's still in the 70's there, and doesn't get this cold until usually January, for a few weeks before it warms back up). I still like El Paso though My body is in shock this morning I do have to admit.

Man, these fast few days have not felt like April at all. The humidity has been up a little and there have been quite a few severe thunderstorms in the are this past week with the possibility of seeing some real heavy stuff come Friday Night into Saturday. This is more typical with late July, August and September, so I have know idea whats going on but I guess we shouldn't be surprised with weather in El Paso.
