Took him to the vet and he said it looks real good and dosent need stiches. Then he went and played with Tacoma at the inlaws and it opened again. Looks like its closed again and ill keep him away from dogs till sunday and if it opens again ill have him put a stich in.
He gave me a drug incase he goes bonkers again in a storm and for travel sickness too.
Cool tip for calming dogs with thunderstorm fears (BEFORE it starts)....rub their coats down with a fabric softener sheet. I don't know how it works but it does. Must eliminate the static electricity in their coats that builds up before a storm....do NOT use on CATS
I think it was a combination of him being new, thunder and lightning and being locked up that did it. Weve had a couple of storms lately and it didnt affect him at all from what i could see.

Heck, I might give that one a whirl. Wonder if lavender would work best as it's supposed to be calming anyway?
I for one, am willing to try the fabric softener. My doggie hates thunderstorms.
