I had to put ornaments up high. Left the lower branches empty or my two trouble makers would bite bulbs.

Yesterday, I heard loud slurping and looked out and Seeker was drinking up the water in the Christmas tree stand. No harm done, it is just plain tap water. I told him it wasn't his and filled it back up.

That's a laugh!

Interesting question. We've never had a problem before. With our current two, they don't even play with toys. If it isn't living and moving - it isn't interesting. The cats, sometimes, have been a minor issue.

However. We have a new dog. Same herding breed as the other two. But MUCH different. This will be his 1st Christmas ever. And, he:
  • Likes boxes and chewing them to bits
  • Likes paper and books and chewing them to bits
  • Loves stuffed toys and destroying them
  • Loves hard rubber toys and is a hard chewer and will eventually work through THEM
  • Is only now learning limits
  • Loves sticks and branches and chewing them to bits
  • What else? I think that may be enough.
I'll have to ask my wife what she plans on doing for Christmas decorating this year.
