That's a laugh!
Interesting question. We've never had a problem before. With our current two, they don't even play with toys. If it isn't living and moving - it isn't interesting. The cats, sometimes, have been a minor issue.
However. We have a new dog. Same herding breed as the other two. But MUCH different. This will be his 1st Christmas ever. And, he:
- Likes boxes and chewing them to bits
- Likes paper and books and chewing them to bits
- Loves stuffed toys and destroying them
- Loves hard rubber toys and is a hard chewer and will eventually work through THEM
- Is only now learning limits
- Loves sticks and branches and chewing them to bits
- What else? I think that may be enough.
I'll have to ask my wife what she plans on doing for Christmas decorating this year.
