I did a search on CD, and apparently I've been posting about wanting to adopt a second dog for years. Well, I finally did it!
My husband and I were fostering an adult Pom mix for a local rescue. He was surrendered by his owner because she was going into assisted living and the son and daughter-in-law refused to take him. Anyway, he and our first dog were BFFs from their first moments together. The kids and I loved him immediately. His constant barking issue faded away pretty quickly (it's amazing how quickly love and attention can change things!) And we realized we couldn't let him go.
I love being a mom of two dogs! 5 stars. Highly recommend it.
Congratulations! He's adorable. Our lives also changed for the better when we got our 2nd dog, totally unplanned, but Tribbles is much happier with Little Guy around, and as we all know, if Poochie ain't happy, then nobody's happy!
I love Foster Fail stories! He is soooo cute . . . I couldn't let him go either! Maybe some Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in there? Doesn't matter - he's just too adorable for words.
I imagine your two dogs are like our two. We have a 20 lb chihuahua and a 40 lb dachshund, and it didn't take them long at all to train us! lol
