I get Poetry Magazine's "poem of the day" daily, and thought others might like today's poem as much as I did. (Mostly, our dogs sleep in their own crates overnight, but sometimes there's ... leakage ... which I used to condemn, but now love.)
I especially love the line: "Why should your black silk ears feel like happiness." My own dog's black silk ears certainly do.
Love the poem, but the two big boys can’t sleep in the bed, there is no room. Change the poem to Cats in Bed, same thing, smaller size.
Ain't that the truth, lol. And our two- brother and sister, deciding to fight at 3a.m. Little snarlin' darlins' my wife says..
