UPS driver was on his break when dog jumped in, didn't want to leave.

Jason Coronado was delivering packages in his job as a UPS driver on Oct. 5 when Ernie, a pitbull-terrier mix, hopped into his truck—and didn't want to leave.

I hope that idiot doesn’t take that thing on his truck. If he does, he should be fired.

He didn't. He said there was a month time period where he thought it over, talked to his family, between when he met the dog and took him home.

In that case, it truly is a happy story! May the pup and his new family have many happy years together.

Are you saying "that thing" because its a pit-mix? You really need to get over it.

I really wonder sometimes about animals’ abilities to “pick a partner”. It seems like such a deliberate act so many times. I wonder what it is they might sense at that time, withmthat person.

A neighbor of ours noticed a stray cat around her house and started leaving food out for it. She had been doing this for over a month and, though the cat came to tolerate her presence while it was eating, it never let her approach or touch it. One day, after learning her mother had been hospitalized, she was sitting on her front porch crying. She said the cat walked right up to her and climbed onto her lap and curled up; they have been best buddies since then.

I do not get the usually dogs are not a big fan of the big brown truck part as my pat three dogs Loved the big brown truck or use too as the past driver use to give them dog biscuits. We could even be out walking in the neighborhood and he would slow down and toss them a treat. They LOVED him and recognized the Big brown trucks! They would see a Big Brown UPS truck even if they were in my car and one passed us and would start doing their happy dance. The two I have now do not act that way as the driver does not do that so to them it is just another truck.
