I ended up running a five mile run, and right after I joined in on my brothers practice with his cross country team for high school, doing a total of eight miles altogether today. I am actually starting to feel very sore, especially in my feet. Both were in a lot of pain today, I iced and put Bengay on them to relieve some pain. I may cool it down tomorrow just for recoveries sake. The problem with this running load is that I haven't done it in so long that my feet, knees, joints etc aren't used to this much stress being thrust upon them.
Too true. Well today I feel much better than yesterday. I'm going to attempt another 10 again. Practice is on Monday, and my cool down day is going to be on Sunday.
Ran 1 800 today. 1 200. Then 1 400. I did these at my current race pace, which isn't too fast at all, but I made it a very short workout because my ankles still hurt at the joints. Going to relax it tomorrow and Sunday, because Monday is the day my coaches will slaughter me.
800- 2:48.8. Slow by any measure of the word.
200- 0:42.4. Still slow.
400- 1:22.8. Still slow.
Okay, so I didn't run today. The foot problem that has been bugging me was pretty bad today, so I went home and put some icy-hot on and I iced my foot in ice water. Pain has subsided and I think I will see a trainer about what to do. It could be my shoes, but I don't know.
Well the foot has been slowly healing again... I'm slowly going to ease back into running this time. I'm real disappointed, I love to run and I hate the cycle machine. It is so boring.
Stress fracture, right foot in third metatarsal. Very painful to run on, still painful to walk on. But it has gotten much better from two weeks ago.
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

I wondered where you've been. Sorry to hear that your injury was more than you expected. Join the walking wounded, my friend - I just had rotator cuff surgery a week ago Thursday.
