I remember in the past seeing some Columbus people discuss LaGrange on this thread so I was wondering if anyone here could help me. I'm looking for a place in LaGrange that is similar to Columbus's Lakebottom Park. I'm mainly interested in having a safe place to run/jog that is frequented by a fair amount of people and is also shady. Any ideas?

Have you looked around LaGrange College? That's a cool area. Lots of good places to run on campus.

I thought the college might be a good place but I don't know the campus at all and I'm not exactly sure where to look. I found a map online but it is hard to tell where the major roads, sidewalks, etc are.

Would look at neighborhoods south of Vernon on either side of Forest Avenue. The greenbelts along Forest Avenue (shown in Google Maps as LaGrange College property) have large open areas. The original LaGrange College and home to the majority of the buildings is in the square bounded by Vernon to the south, Forest to the west, Broad to the north and Park to the east. The expansion to the south along Vernon is property formely part of the Callaway Foundation. It is still largely open park like land.
