Which Colorado ski town do you like to visit the most or would consider moving to if money were no concern?

This is one of those eye of the beholder quests where there are different strokes for different folks.

I guess if money were no object it would be a race between Aspen, Telluride, Beaver Creek and Vail.

Everyone will have their reasons, maybe we can make this a poll listing all the ski towns and let people vote.

Personally, I wouldn't move to any ski town. Then you would have to deal with all the crazy tourists both in the summer and in the winter. There are some really gorgeous places in the state to live that I would choose instead.

I've yet to visit Telluride, and I'm not a downhill skier, but all of the ski towns I've visited Crested Butte is my favorite. The wildflowers alone put it on another level. Not sure it would feel the same to me if I lived there, though. I didn't even visit this summer to hike nearby peaks because I heard the tourist traffic was so bad.

I don't ski but think that Telluride is a most beautiful place in many ways.
