It’s a state level Indiana property tax cap, plenty of information on it.

Thank you - I am definitely feeling sort of overwhelmed, but it will be worth it, I hope. I am sure it will be.

You are an experienced mover, and very organized, so you know you will do great.

I hope so! And thank you! I have lived in Texas though for thirty years, so it will definitely be a change for me! So many things to consider!

Are you downsizing again, or lateral?

Well. I am thinking about downsizing, especially when it comes to the yard/lot.

Let me know where you land. We could be neighbors and throw parties with our Fiesta collections.

I'll be moving back to Cincinnati in 2-3 years if all goes as planned (retirement, boyfriend, money ... not necessarily in that order!). I'm looking for the condo life now - am finished with single-family home ownership.

I will not live in Lebanon again, though - nine years was enough! I still have scars, LOL.

Tell me more about Lebanon! What's terrible about it?

“Terrible” is in the eye of the beholder, but Lebanon is in Warren County, Ohio. 65% of Warren County voters went for Trump in the 2020 election….35% for Mr.Biden. So, residents lean heavy MAGA. One might love that or hate it or not care, but it is what it is. In addition, Lebanon’s population is 92% white….so not much racial diversity, and about 30% of the population is over 55 years old. It’s not the kind of place a lot of younger people are moving to; more likely than not, they are leaving for greener economic pastures. Again, depending where you are in your life (young family vs.retiree) this may or may not matter.

I’d sum it up by characterizing Lebanon as a community of older, white Republicans. Could be heaven for some people. Could be hell for others. Might not matter a lick either.
