Longtime readers may recall learning about the long-ago Wishing Well restaurant at the corner of Galbraith and Reading Rd's, and the owners' daughter who contributed to some threads here. She went by her real name - Gerri Ann - and mostly lurked except for posting stuff about "the Well." We connected in person at a C-D meetup in 2010, where she had brought some interesting memorabilia such as a Well menu and newspaper articles about the time someone crashed their car into the place. Thus began a casual friendship, mostly via e-mail although we did go out to Sugar n' Spice for breakfast a time or two when I was in town. I also got to experience the huge Palm Sunday (?) spaghetti feed at Sacred Heart Church in Camp Washington with her.

Anyway, just tonight I learned through Gerri's daughter that she had passed away in January. There was nothing on legacy.com, so there was no way of expressing condolences or sending flowers or whatever, but I of course e-mailed the daughter back and thanked her for informing me. On the off chance that anyone here remembers Gerri, I thought I'd spread the word.
