BTW, the movie "Inconceivable" recently opened in theaters. Here's the trailer, beginning with a beautiful panoramic view of the city and including a scene in Washington Park (where a Metro bus passes by in the background):

Are you a fan of movies filmed in Cincinnati? If so, you'll be delighted with this little treat.

Offhand, I can think of three other films that might also have been included: The Pride of Jesse Hallam (1981/Johnny Cash), The Mighty (1998/Sharon Stone) and The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017/Nicole Kidman, George Clooney).

From the Business Journal, a preview:

From Soapbox, the executive director of "Film Cincinnati" provides a positive overview of the recent film scene stressing the importance of Ohio's tax incentive program in attracting filmmakers to the city. However, she also cites other important reasons why so many movies are being filmed here.

SMACK! This novel new film production presents a casting call that would provide all our keyboard warriors a real live opportunity to bash the Queen City and confirm to outsiders it's the Backwater Capital of the Midwest.

Are you a serious Cincinnati movie buff who enjoys seeing the city in films, yet tired of the fact that some of these films have been disappointing, straight-to-DVD productions? Then if so, consider that the critical word is out on The Killing of a Sacred Deer, both locally and nationally...
