I understand your pain on the real estate front. We have been looking a lot at houses the past few months. All the ones I like are gone within a few days. Oh well, I don't even
Have a job secured yet.
Yes, we're glad to just be renting--I can't imagine having to buy from a distance. Glad your interview went well!

I have fond memories of hanging out with friends in the Milligan gazebo. My church was just up the road, so I did a whole lot of back and frothing on the old highway. Small world!

I just received a letter that I was not selected for Mason M.S. The search continues... I do not have any other leads however.

I wish you had gotten better news, and hope an opportunity opens up for you soon. Thanks for letting us know.

It's disappointing but I have to look at the fact that Mason is probably one of the hardest schools to get into. One of the top schools in the state and their kids are extraordinarily high performing. My experience and talent is getting kids motivated to learn. The interviewer actually told me "These kids don't need motivation, they are excited to learn already." That is not the world I'm used to.

Just got an interview with North College Hill. Could this be any more different than Mason? Thoughts?

An immediate family member of mine has worked in the NCH school system for nearly a decade now. It's very rough, but best of luck with your interview.

What districts would you consider middle class "normal" kids? Milford, West Clermont, Oak Hills...? If I had a choice aid like to avoid inner city and the Indian Hills and Masons.

Princeton is large and probably fits the general category.

I would suggest starting with Forest Hills School District, Milford, Loveland & Oak Hills.
