I've got relatives coming in next week who've never really been to Cincy. I'm planning a little showcase tour, including a couple of taprooms, The Banks, Fountain Square, and Findlay.

I'd like to end on one of the hills, with a nice vista of the city/river valley. I was thinking the Incline Public House would be a good candidate, but I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions.

Definitely end up in Eden Park, it has the best vistas of the river and the city. The only other place which comes close is Devou Memorial Park across the river in KY. It might be better but you have to search out how to get there.

And while you doing a showcase tour, don't forget the observation tower at Carew Tower, the best place to get a view of Cincinnati as a whole.

The Public House is definitely a good candidate. Great food too if you have never been there. Eat dinner then head outside for a great view of the city. Depending on when you will be giving the tour, you could also head up to Mt. Adams and watch the Friday night fireworks after the Reds game.

Definitely Devou Park. Just the drive into town on northbound I-75 after dark is a fantastic view, but you don't have much time to enjoy it.

I love the view of the skyline coming over from KY on the Purple People Bridge.....I'd recommend doing it early or late in the day given the summer heat.

Carew Tower observation deck $2.00 pp. is a true bargain and while you are there go see the Rookwood tiled arcade and Orchids in the Netherlands Hilton. Last Time we were there a very nice hostess let us go into the Hall of Mirrors. My cousin from Atlanta was blown away!

If you can get into the Hall of Mirrors definitely take it in. Not too sure how much it is used these days, but still one impressive venue.

(1) The Immaculata Church balcony/Mt. Adams. A remarkable view of the downtown and river; located on Guido St.

(2) Bellevue Park overlook/Clifton Heights. An excellent view of downtown, OTR, and Music Hall; located on Ohio Ave.

(3) Fairview Park overlook/Fairview Heights. A great view of downtown, OTR, and Union Terminal; located on W. McMillan St.

Thanks, all. I'm familiar with Devou Park - we've had some work functions there. The others sound interesting, even if I take them in on my own. 8-)
