Be sure to check out Montgomery-Blue Ash area. One of the best school districts in the greater Cincinnati area (Sycamore), easy access to I-71, I-275 and Ronald Reagen Highway, concerts in the park, summer symphonies, "Taste of Blue Ash", an abundance of restaurants right here in these two little towns just 15-20 minutes from downtown Cincy. a few minutes from Kenwood Towne Center (mall), a few minutes from Deerfield Town Center shopping area. Homes range from $200 K to 1 million. It is a diversified neighborhood, religiously and ethnically. A super place to live!!!

Blue Ash is pretty nice, as Gloria says. There is a Synagogue on Fields-Ertel near Snyder Rd about 1 mile north of Blue Ash and west almost to Sharonville. I didn't see where you're moving from - but it's a fairly busy little burg with all the amenities and an airfield and the nicest overall area on the near north side.
I'm not sure how one of the Hebrew persuasion would fare living over the river in KY - Newport, Ft. Mitchell, Ft. Thomas, etc. but the heavy traffic up to Cincy is chronic! Try looking up leaders of the synagogue there (white or yellow pages) for some advice. There is a large Jewish population there.

Default Ymca

In reply to fauxgal .

The biggest YMCA in the US isnt located in Lebanon. They do have a large Y with several indoor pools, but it isnt the largest. The largest is somewhere in Chicago.

If you're looking at places where a mixed-marriage couple/family (I was part of one in Cincinnati when it was far less common than today), the suggestions of Amberley, Blue Ash, West Chester, Wyoming, Montgomery, Maineville, Lebanon are all excellent but I'm surprised no one mentioned Mason. The Jewish community of North Avondale, Bond Hill and Roselawn of my childhood travelled right out Reading and Montgomery Roads as the Interstate highway system developed. It is much more scattered, but mainly to the northeast of Cincinnati.
