Yeah , It was fun seeing Tony , Schrader and Newman those final laps , and Andretti right up there with them. Did you catch Schraders comment basically saying you can tell these guys dont own the cars by the way they are driving out there..

I was kinda thinking being on dirt may have had something to do with it.

Thank You! Camping World for another fun season of racing!

I LOVE Saturday Night Short-Track!

If the racing Genie granted me three wishes they would be:

1) A coupla more races next year

2) More dirt

3) Less time run off the clock during yellows.

Kind of bummed they moved to thursday night and cable but... Looks like it works out better for all the nascar guys that are racing this year. Keselowsi doing the whole schedule, Harvick , Hamlin, Boyer.
Do wish they would extend the season a few more races.

The problem is.. As I stated last year.. It's becoming a little too NASCAR heavy.

I love seeing Helio out there and he does pretty well.

That being said.. I'd LOVE to see Schrader run the full season.. But I believe he's the 'shakedown' driver for the cars.

Waltrip.. Is he back this year? He's been in all 12 races and never scored a podium finish. Even Paul Tracy who hit everything but the pace car has a podium finish.

Haha, I agree with you, even though I don't know a lot of drivers from other series , I enjoy the mix, Castroneves is a hoot, love his demeanor. Paul Tracy has pretty much assumed the villain role and he wears it well. I don't know about Waltrip, he didn't seem to do so well. Schrader seems like a natural fit for this series, he didn't seem too happy about the other drivers tearing up the cars last time I saw him. I know Kenny Wallace was posting about getting a seat.

Herman would be great. Hell, I'd like to see people like Randy LaJoie log a race or so.. Some of the older retired folks.. Rick Mast, Harry Gant (Though, 83 might be a BIT long in the tooth), Ricky Rudd and the like. Just stick them in for a race.

If Gant would drive, I'd think you might get Mario Andretti to run a race.

Evidently Kenny is doing all the races. How bout Jimmy Spencer, lets get him and Kurt Busch in a race together.

Looks like Newman is running all the races as well again this year. Also he and Bobby Labonte are now teammates driving for Hermie Sadlers modified team.

I'm with you on this. It's almost becoming the NASCAR Senior Tour.

There are plenty of series out there that they could pull some exciting drivers from.
