Uh, where on congress? DT or south of the river? Gotta consider parking and transit time.

Default Tgi?

Have you tried TGI Friday's? It is right on Town Lake. It is part of the Radisson hotel on Ceasar Chavez and Congress so I think you can park in their garage.

sorry i am such an oldtimer, lunching on congress still means NORTH of the river to me! i'm already going to be parked, so that isn't an issue. preferably closer to the capitol.

Thistle Cafe (not right on Congress, but 2 blocks west @ 6th and Lavaca). Also the Belmont, which is right across the street from Thistle (neat outdoor area, good if you want drinks). Thai Passion on Congress across from the Paramount, and of course the Roaring Fork.

There's the Old Bakery across from the Capitol and don't forget the Driskill Grill or Cafe 1886.
