Honestly, our best bet would be for a tropical storm / hurricaine to hit the coast and them head our way. Not hoping for a huge, damaging storm, but big enough to make a dent.

I'll take anything at this point. This week was supposed to be the week that we'd get rain and nothing. My garden, my pride and joy, looks like total crap! This summer sucks!

I've read that the droughts that are happening in California and the Pacific Region are not going to just stop there. They predict that it will spread further inland over the coming years and fresh water will become more of a scarcity.. ..hopefully I'm wrong about this..

It's also very dusty. I remember the odd saharan dust thing every now and then but this year it seems to be more frequent...my patio was totally covered in it

Whats interesting is there's almost no happy median.. ..either places are getting too much rain and flooding or not getting any rain at all.

Well, we made it through all the days of 30-50% rain chances without getting a single drop

I had 4 drops hit me on Thursday.
Tried to wring it out on the grass to no avail.

In other news, I have plants that survived the freeze only to be killed by this season's heat and drought, despite watering them regularly.
Probably won't see any until this coming Thursday, we seriously need rain in our area.

Here’s something interesting

https://www.kxan.com/weather/weather...act-texas/amp/

Now notice that it says ‘NONE’ right over Austin?

That’s the weather gods smiting us…

Or the summer high just being slightly too far south for the rain to make it to us.
