I think a search on Google will find what you need. Not sure if things have changed, but I believe people currently living in Austin have an advantage over someone from out of state. I could be wrong.

There ARE jobs, but I don't think many of the best are advertised. I assume the OP is talking about software development positions. There are MANY software companies in Austin, and positions open and close all the time. You'll need to have proven experience in modern development environments, complete software lifecycle methodology, etc. If you currently work for a vendor, instead of an IT environment, you'll be a stronger candidate. Pay is competitive.
