Our new home is right in the middle of those two locations so the distance to both clubs is the same. We just don't know which one to join since we don't know the pros and cons of the clubs....please help, any inputs would be great!

Thank you in advance!

ATA is more of a Junior Academy with parents writing checks between $600 - $1200 per month for their tennis junior. Might be worth it for the high level 11th or 12th grader trying to max out on his tennis scholarship potential (or not).

WOT at Lakeway has Junior & Adult programs & sounds like a good fit for you all. It's also a great facility & they have nice folks there. Also look at the Capital Area Tennis Association (aka CATA) for LOTS local info & also lots of recreational junior & adult tournaments. (Lakeway hosts many)

Other Tennis Clubs nearby: Barton Creek, Polo Club (in Dripping Springs) & Courtyard (near the bridge) & Riverplace.

How old are the Juniors (& are they playing in tournaments)? My kid has run the gauntlet & i can offer opinions.

Neither WOT or ATA would be my first choice if you have a HIGH level Junior....but WOT is great for the beginner or intermediate junior (imo). Great area for the tennis family. Also.....Lake Travis High School (nearby) has courts available sometimes & they have a very strong 4A tennis team.

Thank you for the info, Hound! WOT sounds like a right fit for us. Polo Club would have been our 1st pick if it isn't "far" from us - we're lazy people and prefer to be closed to the tennis club.
