Would you like to see the maroon AZ standard license plate come back? It wouldn't replace the current 2008 design, will be manufactured along with the current design. You can either get the random generated 6-digits or pay a bit extra and get custom text. The only difference, it will be screen printed and not embossed.

Sort of like what Texas has.

I have never met 1 person that cared about the license plates. The color, the design, nothing. Make them all the same and move on to fixing something important.

Gone before my time in Arizona. But I prefer the maroon. Not of fan of the flashy plates. At least Arizona's look okay. Michigan has been a disaster.

How about black & white plates ( black with white lettering) which would go with any color of car.

Sure, why not? Texas has TONS of selection for license plates, why can't AZ have the same options?

We have tons of options. The standard ones are hideous though. Who wants green, yellow and purple on the back of their car?

Now you know two people. I like to match my license plate with the color of my vehicle.

Not really, what if I'm a big spider fan and want a preserve tarantula license plate? We don't have one. TX has 'Save Texas state Ocelots' license plates. I believe we don't have much state pride in general.

NO. It is a status symbol at this point that you have been in AZ longer than most people
