I have no idea what the road was called, I didn't see any road sign and it didn't show up on the map I had so we were just sort'a going on instinct - figuring it would take us more or less where we wanted to go. It seemed a substantial road with other traffic so I guessed it wasn't just going to dead end.

If it was paved the whole way over it was Davis Rd!

A more interesting road would have been to come North to Elfrida and Take the Gleason Rd, it is paved the first few miles, but then turns to gravel, but still a good road most of the times, watch out open range cattle!

Default Pearce Days

"Pearce Days" are coming to "Old Pearce" always right after Thanksgiving! They open up the old store (which is for sale!) and you can wander back in time, and see actual item that were left there . . . all is behind chicken wire so you can't really touch or buy it, kinda like a museum . . . a bunch of vender's line the street too!

Great Pictures. I just bought a couple of lots sight unseen up off Birch. I am familiar with the area as I lived in Bisbee, Double Adobe, and Naco back in 1986/87. I don’t remember a lot about Sunsites though. I also bought bare desert back in 1981 in Maricopa. 200 people. I lived there for several years. After I left the property went through the roof and the area had a 100 times increase in residents. So bare desert is nothing new to me. You actually have much more to offer in Sunsites. Any zoning I need to know about?. I have a big 5th wheel and I am thinking of Solar and Hauled Water for a couple of years. I live in Oregon on the Coast and will be keeping my property here. If I get elected in May to Coos County Commission, after I get done with my four years as County Commissioner we plan to move at least part time and for now at least winter in Sunsites until then. I am a Cowboy action Shooter SASS, and a Small Scale Miner GPAA. I also ride MC year round and spend a lot of time exploring. I have been retired since 2000 but I am only 62 and my wife is 60.

Nothing wrong with Birch Rd, I think there was a few farms in that area. And Sunsites is a very small but very nice town. I would love to live there.

The whole area is kind of nice, if you like that life style.

Yeah, we got some snow back 12-22 a whole 3/4" still showing up in the Mts . . . didn't make to 10 am here in the village!

Here are a few more pictures I took about two weeks ago . . . just after sunrise down in Sunizona looking West:

Cows don't care if the grass is brown! (That's them grazing in the background)
