San Clemente Pier


San Clemente Pier is 1,296 feet. This particular pier is a pleasure pier in San Clemente, California. It offers views of the Pacific Ocean and parking is located at 611 Avenida Victoria. Free fishing is provided on the pier, though visitors must have their own equipment. They also have an indoor/ outdoor restaurant near the pier. Visitors who want to learn to surf can take advantage of the surf shops near the pier. Others can come to watch the surfing competitions held close to the pier throughout the year. The competitions tend to choose the best times of year when the waves will be ideal for all levels.

Sport activities such as windsurfing, water skiing, and scuba diving are all possible from San Clemente Pier. Beach fun such as sun bathing, beach combing, sand castle, and other enjoyments are possible at San Clemente State Beach and around San Clemente Pier.

Anyone wishing to fish will want to be at the pier around dawn. This is usually the best time to catch fish. The pier opens officially at 4am and closes at midnight. However, most of the attractions are for during the day. Boat excursions run from Oceanside offering a chance to photograph the pier.
