Casa Tropicana Inn

The Casa Tropicana Inn is located in San Clemente, right on the shores of the California beach. All of the smoke free guestrooms at the inn feature flat screen televisions with HBO and DVDs, comfortable beds, mini refrigerators stocked with snacks, bathrobes, fluffy bathrooms towels, high-speed wireless Internet access and oversized Jacuzzi bathtubs and showers. Guests have access to a variety of amenities at the hotel including a gated parking area, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas and scenic ocean views. Dining during your stay at Casa Tropicana is an experience in and of itself and guests have access to numerous restaurants within walking distance including Iva Lee's Creaole Cuisine, Carbonara's Trattoria, Café 207, Sonny's Pizzeria, Avila's El Ranchito, the Fisherman's Restaurant and Oyster Bar, Happa J's, the BeachFire Bar and Grill, Café Mimosa, the Café Calypso, La Galette Creperie, Cassano's Pizzeria, Nicks and Irons in the Fire. Casa Tropicana is owned by Rick and Sue Anderson, both California natives who love the beach. Rick built the inn and operated Rick's Tropicana Bar and Grill on the first floor for 15 years before selling the business in 2004. Sue raised her family in San Clemente and worked in a local market before her and Rick met. Together, they married and opened the inn, welcoming guests to their hometown.
