Byington Winery and Vineyards

Located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Byington Winery and Vineyards can be visited for an afternoon of wine tasting or used to host your next event. The winery was originally a residence but became a winery in 1987. The location offers panoramic views, a collection of finely crafted wine, and an unlimited supply of clean, fresh air. Tastings at the winery are available everyday from 11 am until 5 pm for a small fee. Larger groups are invited to tour and taste at the winery with an appointment. There are picnic facilities on the grounds of the winery which include tables, chairs, umbrellas, grills, and a Bocce ball court. The winery is a very popular destination for weddings and offers the perfect setting for wedding photographs, guest gatherings, and nuptial ceremonies. Guests enter along a rose-lined pathway and are seated facing the bridal gazebo that is surrounded by jasmine and the vineyards. Behind that are views of Monterey Bay and the redwood forests. Brides prepare for the ceremony in a private suite and The Barrel Room makes for an exquisite location for your post-nuptial celebration. In addition to weddings, Byington hosts a variety of private and corporate events. Wines are available for serving at events, as well as to be purchased for individual visitors to the winery.
