The Wegmans chain of supermarkets also uses the correct wording on their signs. And, surprisingly, Stop & Shop--which is owned by a company from The Netherlands--also gets it right.

This reminds me of a local bar (dive) in town that I’ve driven past. A friend’s dad owns it. It’s called “Somewhere’s Else”.

they would print something interesting once and a while.

we don't see bashing of the Clinton's, Obama's, Bush's

So stupid. Selective photos could do the same with my husband and I.

Fourth years with the same man

Common sence, (hardly noone has this), Respect, (again, see prior parenthes), and Courtesy, (repeating once again), will keep the situation from escalating into a worst situation.

I'm not what time but cat must of ran outside..

I can't find a written example, but it really irks me when people say:

Your guys's, my guys's

My husband and I's, my friend's and I's

pronounce realtor "real-a-tor"

Along those same lines, it's not unusual to hear "amount of people", even from television announcers. People don't come in "amounts".
One store in my area gets it right. Menards, a large home-improvement store chain, has signs that say, "10 items or fewer" at the express lanes.

Now, if we could just get supermarkets not to put signs such as these in their produce sections:

  • BANANA'S
  • ORANGE'S
  • CUCUMBER'S
  • ARTICHOKE'S
And the list goes on.

I swear, one of these days I'm going to invest in a case of White-Out and go about covering up all those apostrophes!
