Doggo went down to the river but can't get back up.
Nice. At first glance I thought that was a bear in the river lol.

No bears in southwestern Ontario. The closest to here I've seen them was around Parry Sound and Lions Head.

Some picture from the St. Patrick's Day festival yesterday. Organizers got lucky with the weather.

Imgur was giving me issues with these images; I think their algorithm thought they were NSFW or something lol. So I'm trying postimages.org, we'll see how it goes.

Not quite true, they have been spotted a few times over the past couple of years, all the way down to Lambton, Middlesex and northern Chatham-Kent. These are obviously rogue bears, and not local populations.

Yeah, I meant local populations. I know they've strayed south occasionally but that's very rare. I certainly would not expect to see any around here.

Anyways, winter is back (taken this morning).

Last blast of winter. Temperatures never topped the freezing mark but snow is still melting fast due to being fluffy snow and the sun out in full strength all day.

Green winter wheat vs white winter woods

Not sure what kind of shrub this is but they've been getting ready to leaf out a week ago and got stalled out by multiple consecutive -10C nights.
