A few pics from today while visiting Golden Ears Provincial Park east of Vancouver BC. The place blew us away with its beauty. The clarity of the water reminds me of Tahoe or Clear Lake. And the water's vibrant emerald green color is mesmerizingly gorgeous. The photos are not digitally enhanced. It really looks like this IRL.

Not many. What does that have to do with Washingtonians visiting Vancouver BC?

Same relevance as Vancouver BC in the Washington forum. Maybe I’ll post some Oregon and Idaho photos too! Or Hawaii, how many Washingtonians visit Hawaii and boom, just like Vancouver BC!

It is relevant for Washingtonians who live next to Canada and may not have visited before. Or for those who do and others might learn something from. It's not the same as simply driving or flying to another state in the US. But think and rant as you wish.

Naw, Vancouver BC photos belong in the Vancouver BC forum, of which there is one. You forgot the Derek, do you manually add that at the end every time?

Check the thread title, SusVelo, it’s perfectly relevant for MtnSurfer to post photos of the Vancouver area in relation to this thread.

One of our most fun trips was east on highway 2 from the Seattle area then north on 97, and spent the night in Oroville. In the morning we continued into Canada at Lake Osoyoos, where there are great wineries, then Canada highway 3 which goes west but with a lot of northern jumps in between. The drive alongside the Fraser River when it turned to Highway 1 was beautiful. Then we went through Chilliwack where we spent the night, on to Abbotsford then into Vancouver, and back home on I5.

The thread is asking Washingtonians a question. Doesn't make much sense to post it in a thread that most likely won't go go, so I do believe it belongs here.
