Happy St. Patrick's Day in NI and around the world.
Yes we are all plastic paddy's today, and proud of it!
I do find it strange that SF and others seem invested in the Israeli and Palestinian conflict when they have their own fish to fry in NI & the ROI as described in this article;
I am worried about Irish Bob as I have not seen him post in some time. I sent him a DM and have not heard anything back.
Do any of our fellow posters know him and/or have a means of contacting him outside of the forum?

Also, Sinn Fein has denied reports that a united Ireland would cost Dublin $20 Billion for decades, but it does make you wonder how much the British government pours into NI, and how much they would save if reunification occurs?
Still on the plus side Ireland doesn't support the US like the UK does and doesn't host US bases, so perhaps the UK can learn something from the Irish.

Over 6% of the UK's population is Muslim, 15% of London is Muslim and growing yet would you way this is a problem for the UK? I always wonder why men like Tommy Robinson are so invested in Ireland's immigration problem when for at least a century the UK has been one of the main nations on earth for diverse ethnic groups to emigrate to which has only enriched it. It will take more than a few years for Ireland to ever be like the UK immigration wise and to be honest given the attitude of the Irish people today I expect a much more responsible and well planned immigration system to develop as it is literially the biggest issue in the country. It's an issue than can make it break and poltical party at the moment.
I don't understand how men like Tommy Robinson and GB news believes that Ireland is going to demographically change overnight. There's 7 million people on the Island. Ireland still has time to get a well developed system unlike some other countries where it is too late and has been for some time
