I don't think this show will be renewed for Season 3. Its losing much of its audience according to ratings. It's also doing what I can't stand with shows. It comes on fir an episode or two, then is off for several weeks. Granted March Madness interrupted its episodes, but Elsbeth and Ghosts seem to still be on Thursday nights.
I just read that. So pissed. That's the only show I watch on CBS. The writing was so clever and the actors so good. The premise was quite unusual so that added to the appeal.

I liked the show also. It was different and a nice break from all the blood and guts crime shows. I had a feeling though that it would be canx.
Todd was really the only time I watched CBS anymore. With Todd gone I have no reason to watch the network anymore. What would be great is if Todd could be picked up by another network. Probably won't happen but a nice thought.
I'm disgusted with CBS. Makes me want to stop watching TV and avoid getting attached to a good show only to have it axed 2-3 years (or shorter) later. The latest episode with Lyle's mother was a bit over the top but I thought it ended on a very nice note with the brother letting go of the balloon at the end. Sends a good message. I've really enjoyed Allison's character this season, along with the others. I disagree with eliminating MGH's love interest. I liked him and the dynamic.
Bob Hearts Abishola is going by the wayside even though it's gotten better and better (this season has been really funny) and The Neighborhood is slipping just a little. Young Sheldon is ending and Ghosts isn't holding my attention like it used to. Elsbeth, while quirky and upbeat will likely not make it as well.
As someone said on another platform So Help Me Todd didn't plummet in the ratings. This "bubble" that the suits speak of is b.s. They're just bringing in more and more shows to the point where I don't even care anymore. I keep reading about shows I've never heard of. They come and go so quickly these days. I refuse to watch blood, guts, violence, gore, torture, maiming and other garbage and I'm tired of getting attached to really decent shows that end too soon.
Yeah, this is disappointing. I was a '..Todd' fan.
And it's frustrating, because Deadline reported Todd's ratings were pretty good (even stronger than some shows that were renewed on other networks). But CBS wanted to clear space for some new dramas, so..
I'm still mad CBS dumped 'United States of Al'..
