Sounds like Flo is paying for your TV fix. Why all the fuss?

Flo's cool and a little quirky. Progressive is a big company with a focus on bottom line profits. If Flo was not bringing in more customers she would be gone in a short time.

Doesn't matter to me one way or the other since I either press Mute, or change channels when commercials come on.

things get stale....

The Gecko thing....

Flo.....

Nationwide with that guy in the middle of the night and the wife whining" who are you talking to at three a.m.....

The duck....

They are all cute/interesting for a while, but the concepts get beaten to death such that you turn them off/tune them out.

Is all advertising subliminal? I have watched those commercials a zillion times, and would never consider buying anything from any of them. Am I missing something? Or are they sucking me in without me even knowing it?

Don't really care one way or the other. The character doesn't bother me. She's just part of the landscape now.
Some of the ads work and some don't but, it has been a very successful campaign.

7 years of Flo is enough.
His companion was the penguin when penguins were the hot thing in Hollywood in cartoons and movies for a moment there. Now since that is no longer the case, I guess the General dumped him! LOL

Do you honestly think many people would be buying Progressive Insurance because of Flo. People are after lower rates and what their coverages will be. I could care less about Flo and I think she has gotten very tiresome. All these years on TV. Enough is Enough. Progressive has very eratic rates and as far as I'm concerned uses the Bait and Switch method to attract customers. Progressive pays Flo's salary, and customers are paying Progressive. So why pay her salary. I would never get Progressive even if Flo disappeared. I don't care for that type of call in or over the Net insurance sales. I don't care for Geico for the same reasons. Over done with commercials.
