The reason we pay such high insurance rates is to offset the abominable amount insurance companies spend on advertising!
You're fooling yourself if you think they are going to pass that savings along to you. Pretty much like the lower gas prices have not changed ticket prices with the airlines...

I dont mind Flo, however they are giving the character some weird story lines lately.

I liked the older Flo commercials . This newer batch they can skip. Stupid!!
What they're supposed to do is spread the rumor that they're going to kill off Flo in a fiery crash (caused by a driver with a "lesser" insurance company). All Flo's "fans" will rally around her to "Save her" and they can get a bunch of free publicity, much like Family Guy did when they talked about killing off Brian. (or, maybe they killed Brian and brought him back?)
Kind of funny:
the comedian that plays Flo has a "small" list of friends on FB.
Flo the character has over 2 million "friends" on FB; or did a few years ago when I last checked...
Even worse than Flo (who I cannot tolerate at ALL) are the "General" ads. Cheap, intrusive and loud.
