Golf should be the #1 answer, BY FAR!!!

Soccer is also pretty boring. I can't waste time watching any sport where they run up and down a field that large for 90 straight minutes and then the score ends up being super low, with something like 1-0.

Baseball comes in third. Boring and slow as all get out to watch on TV (unless it's playoffs/World Series), but really fun to watch in person. Even then, I think it's more the experience of being in the ballpark as opposed to the sport itself actually being super exciting.

the poll probably needs only the top 5-10 televised sports....not Olympic type sports like curling....those votes probably would have gone to golf along w/ many of the other olympic type sports.....didn't even realize Frisbee was a televised sport.

However, as a spectator sport, it is very boring to watch. The fact that soccer games in general are very low scoring affairs with running back and forth and back and forth is just godawful boring. It's just like ice hockey, another sport I find very boring but does have popularity in the U.S.
The big problem with soccer, is that it was designed to be an anti-masculine sport. Not being able to use the arms and the strength of the upper body, takes away much of the essence of a man's athletic potential. This was done deliberately, to neutralize men in the sport and it's why it's more popular with girls in the U. S., than with boys.

Golf...I haven't the patience.
NASCAR...around, and around, and around, until my eyes cross. There's not enough alcohol in the world to get me numb enough to watch this.

Man. I always hate these soccer vs. football debates, because they really are perpetuated by two opposing camps of really stupid people.

Take this post, for instance.

Soccer is fluid and continuous. Bravo. Great for soccer. I can appreciate it, even though I'm not a huge fan of the game.

Football, however, is more akin to chess. It's a series of moves, and each move has significance and import. It is, when played well, strategy, strategy, and more strategy.

What's more, much like chess, each position in football has its unique requirements. Wide receivers need speed and agility. Running backs need speed and the ability to absorb punishment. And linemen require brute strength.

Who is a better athlete? A weightlifter or a sprinter? I mean, one of those 'morbidly obese' football players could likely break you in half like a twig.

NASCAR, how many times can you watch cars go around a circle and not get bored out of your skull. Golf at least has commentator that talk quietly.

I'm not a soccer fan, but this is an asinine post.

It's frustrating if you're in the stadium as I was yesterday for the Tampa Bay New York game.....lots of standing around in football.

GOLF!

On Sundays when my mom was preparing breakfast my dad would assign each of us kids a spot to sit in the living room...and then he'd put the TV on to watch GOLF, not cartoons but GOLF!

No greater torture in the world (at least for little kids) than watching GOLF!
