Soccer is easy to watch because there are no commercials, though I don't get excited unless it's literally Seattle in a championship game.

I get far more excited about the Seahawks and Mariners (and formerly the Sonics), but I've gotten far less ok with commercials over time. Now I turn the sound off and either channel flip or go do something else if a commercial comes on. This is more anger than boredom however.

NASCAR. It's not even racing, and I think w/o the usual gazillion wrecks (Daytona anyone?) most of the viewers would fall asleep. The announcers never, ever shut up either. F1 has become almost as bad though, w/ extremely boring races and silly Tilke tracks. Their announcers are WAY more annoying too.

I was going to mention golf, but no way is that a sport. Bunch of out of shape guys hitting a little ball w/ a stick into a hole? Oh yeah, bring that on, baby! Maybe they could talk Taylor Swift into showing up.

I voted for Golf and I was not surprised to see the results as Golf is currently leading with most number of votes.

Gotta say it. Last year, MLB implemented the pitch clock. I was skeptical at first, but it's crazy how much it's sped up the game.

I like that MLB is faster now. But also means commercials are a larger percentage of the duration. It feels like 40% of the time flipping to it it's a motherf***ing commercial. So basically I'm annoyed 40% of the time I try to check in on a game.

Or it's those god damn in-game commercials where they do two screens and I have to race to turn the sound down and blacklist the advertiser.
