Agreed. I analyze a lot of real estate ads and this looks like a typical stage, complete with the fake wide screen TV. Usually the screen has an action shot of a downhill skier or a boat on lake, not a shot of the condo building or the house for sale.
OP, go check it out in person and see how it compares to the glamour shots on the listing.
We're not interested in buying these days. After we sold our house, we decided to rent.
I came across this house due to a poster asking about houses and condos with low prices in that area. I'm always curious to see what housing costs these days.

Boring monochrome, and I hate the draperies. Still, that's all easily changed, and not a reason to pass up a place if all else is good. I'm amazed at how cheap it is, here that would be about $700k.
That's a clean canvas to do what you want, white is very easy to paint over. I'd take that hands down over some of the hideous hard to paint colors some choose
Same old same old grey and white everywhere. Window treatments are a bit too McMansion for what's in essence a two bedroom apartment, but yes, I've seen dozens of houses for sale staged that way.

I was thinking the same, along with the furry pillows on the bed and sterile artwork.
When I was in high school I took a class on interior design and we were involved in decorating a model home for an open house event, and went "shopping" at a local home decor store (they lent out all the merchandise for the duration of the event). We were kept in check by our teacher, so the house wasn't decked out in hot pink and neon decor.
The staging of this condo reminds me of that, like some young woman with princess fantasies cast reality aside and went overboard with the company credit card.
I don't know how people simply cannot see past anything. just remember, none of the decor is staying, so whats left is blank walls painted the color they have.
it is very pretty, not or me, but i know if i were to buy it, nothing is staying.
it isn't hard to imagine.
HGTV has really damaged a lot of people.
I don't think it is hard to imagine your own things in a new place.
usually there is one wall for the TV, another for the couch, and so on.
not really hard.
White is fine. I can add color with my furniture, wall hangings, and carpets. The paint looks to be in good condition, so I could live with that until it was time to paint again.
I am not a fan of a white kitchen, but I wouldn't turn down a house that was otherwise perfect just because the kitchen was all white. I could have those cabinets painted for not too much money.
I know. When one is looking to buy a place, the advice is to ignore how the current owner has decorated. Still...there are those who can't ignore such things:
This is a condo for sale. I will say the place looks clean. But...the color scheme. A shot of one of the closets shows the color scheme extends to all the clothing, too.
I feel like death is near. Would become depressed quickly.
