Nope, he's staying put with the Jags.

I heard Mooch is the next guy on their list.

I'd go after Butch Davis if I were USC.

I miss those players........................

Yep, that's what we Seahawks fans aspire to...slightly over .500.

As a Seahawks fan, put me in the "not thrilled" column...

As a Seahawks fan, I hope he's wildly successful.

As a lifetime Pacific Northwest Pac 10 fan (stretching back to the Pac 8), I'll have to hold my nose while cheering him on.

As a Cardinals fan, I'm pleased with this hire because Carroll is overrated. He rode his assistants Norm Chow, Steve Sarkisian, Laine Kiffin and Ed Orgeron to success. Carroll is going to realize it's much tougher to win when he can't recruit all the talent he wants and can't ride the coattails of brilliant offensive assistants. If Carroll has success, it won't be for another 3 years at the very least because the Seahawks are old and they need to dump salary and old players before they can start over. That's going to take at least 1-2 seasons. That offense is still built on Mike Holmgren's west coast model but it no longer has the players to really execute it

Regarding Mark Sanchez, Carroll was just being desperate because he knew Aaron Corp wasn't capable of starting. He was hoping Sanchez would stay another season because he didn't trust Aaron Corp. USC and Carroll spun a good story at start of the season about Matt Barkley being the first true freshman to "earn" the starting job but the reality is Corp was terrible and they had no choice but to start Barkley. Anyway, that was Carroll's own fault because everyone knew that Sanchez should have started instead of Booty in 2007.

USC seahawks will actually have a chance to go .500 at least. I hope he doesnt use the bullcrap USC passing offense (float the ball in air) with the hawks. These college coaches dont care about players just the $$$
