Specific locations unannounced at this point, though it is already known that Wawa is attempting to open a location in Kill Devil Hills. Wawa seems to be wanting to fill in the gap between their northern stores and Florida locations.

Wawa is like Sheetz. It is a good place to stop for good hoagies, coffee, gas, bathrooms, snacks. Their hoagies are very good and they have lots of other options to eat, too. If you like the convenience of a place like Sheetz, then you'll like Wawa, maybe a bit better, make a bit less. We find them especially convenient on road trips. Everything in one stop and we like the choices of food.
Is Wawa any better than Sheetz? If not then this doesn't seem to be anything to get too happy about, though I suppose it's always better for the consumer to have more choices.
Alright so those of you who know this place, please answer the following question.
Is this something to get excited about?
Other than the nostalgia that it might hold for some northeastern transplants it's not really special at all. Sheetz and QT both pretty much have the same exact business model.
Sheetz is better than Wawa to me. I don’t like subs/hoagies are cold cuts, so I find no value in that metric. I like Sheetz’s grill, prepared foods, ice cream/milkshakes, and baked goods more than the competition’s.

Wawa is better than sheetz, sheetz has more options, butttttttt wawa subs/sandwiches/breakfast bagels are of better quality for sure
I've never had and likely never will eat a Wawa sandwich, but their stupid octagon checkout/register configuration is confusing and annoying. Just leads to people standing around in the way unsure of where they need to be. Hopefully these new stores will have a better flow. But I am firmly on team SHEETZ.
