Default ..

I love this weather! Granted, this weather is not for everybody (as some have very much stretched their vocal cords at us in letting us know this), but I cannot live without this awesome spectacle!

I love a good storm but I am really getting afraid of the water level. I hear my pump working in the basement, no one on my block is pumping "yet". But blocks around us several are pumping water out of the basements. Can not ride out to Hall County Park, bike trail is closed due to flooding. so do a bit of back tracking out to there.

There are not alot of counties in central Nebraska not under a tornado warning right now. Also a cell out in Chase County. Really nasty out there and sounds like this isn't the main system that was suppose to bring us storms.

I'm watching that one in Chase co. There's a tornado vortex signature in the cell just south of Champion... I might not get to go to my meeting in Imperial tomorrow morning after all if the road gets muddy enough. :P

Right now we're surrounded...
There's the stuff just across the county line in Chase co. and just to the west of us in Yuma Co. Colorado. There's also something boiling up south of us by Goodland KS, but that hasn't really organized into anything yet...

Yep, there's a tornado on the ground south of Champion, moving toward Imperial, though they think it's going to skip to the south east of town... That one is north of us, but the one that is west of Wray CO is on a path for us, so far... Hopefully it'll dissipate before it gets this far.

I have to confess, even when they're bearing down on us, I love this weather too!

Great, another Tornado in Emmerson, and yet another headed towards Red Oak, has anything touched down in Central NE yet?

And by the way, because when I asked for the thread to become a sticky and it did the next minute, can its name be changed to Nebraskan Weather?

There have been several spotted on the ground in central Nebraska. Have not heard of any tornado damage yet, just hail damage and flooding.

itsMeFred, hope you're okay, saw a tornado warning for Dundy county.
