I usually have little memory of things I have posted! Anyone else surprised at their own posts? Late sleepy nights and perhaps a couple glasses of wine to blame?

But to get this back on track, Pocatello is a nice smaller city in Idaho surrounded by low rising mountains, unlike Idaho Falls. It has Idaho State University which helps give the area a bit more progressive feel. It is isolated indeed, but only about two hours from the SLC metro.

Drove through Poky today. Nice new growth north of the T- freeway intersection. Looks like new apartments going up plus new roadways for future growth.

T-Freeway intersection.? Do you mean 15/86? If yes, you are noting the new entrance/exit to Poky to the east; Chubbuck to the west. (Called New Day Parkway cause some politicians didn't like Siphon....DUH!)

Growing yes, intersection not needed....YES. It is causing growth but Chubbuck is crying now that not enough if housing.
