I did 2 part epoxy DIY in my garage in Colorado. The stuff held up just fine even under sand and gravel that came in with the snow. However, I second what Threerun said. Never again. That stuff is slippery as snot when wet. And garage floors are always wet. I'll deal with the bare concrete rather than risking falls again.

Now for durability -- where I worked had some put down by a professional crew and some put down by a professional painter crew. The flooring crew stuff is still just as good as originally installed 20 years ago whereas that put down by painters started peeling within the first year.
