Can anyone recommend good historical fiction from the following time and place?

Ancient Egypt, esp Akhenaten and Nefertiti.
South America, esp Simon Bolivar
Vietnam and/or SEA in general

Sorry, didn't see this before. Michelle Moran wrote a great novel called "Nefertiti". She also wrote "The Heretic Queen" about Nefertari. I haven't read it, but Stephanie Thornton's "Daughter of the Gods" gets really good reviews, it's about Hatshepsut.

Some of these have been mentioned before, but my favorites include:

The Poldark series by Winston Graham (ca. 1800 Cornwall)
Most novels by Anya Seton (my favorite is Devil Water) - early 18th century England and America
Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor (Restoration England)
Captains and the Kings - Taylor Caldwell - 19th century U.S.
Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follett (12th century England)
