Hard disagree from me. Hollywood needs to start making original films again instead rehashing comic book stories (or historical ones in this case) time and again. There's simply no room for anything being made that's not already been made it seems. I get that it's automatic cash for the studios if they have a decent franchise, but it's made me all but stop going to the theater.

No No!
Titanic is a Hollywood classic. We don't want a second part to spoil its reputation.

Hollywood should NOT make another Titanic movie in my opinion.

According to Wikipedia, the first Titanic was made in 1912:

How many Titantic movies do we need?

However, the story of individuals on the Titanic may have many different angles, so I wouldn't mind another Titanic film as long as the specific story line is different with the sinking just the setting.

There was a TV movie about George Washington. Trouble with that one was that Barry Bostwick played George, and every time he came on the screen I yelled "***hole!" at him.

They did.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hu0O-q7Kf2k "America: The Motion Picture"

America: The Motion Picture. A chainsaw-wielding George Washington teams with beer-loving bro Sam Adams to take down the Brits in a tongue-in-cheek riff on the American Revolution. Facts, schmacts. Channing Tatum steps into the butt-kicking boots of George Washington in this over-the-top animated comedy.

Well, I think that would be too much. Such success, as it was in the first film, they no longer get

How would they pull that off? Raise the ship, for it to crash and sink again??

There's no way to do a second movie, and it'd be lousy anyway like sequels tend to be.
