I love the area. I did a lot of geology field trips up there.

I''ve been riding around Iowa Hill (Near Colfax, California) about once-twice a week. Park in front of the Store and ride iowa hill road around big dipper. If anyone would like to meet up in the afternoon to ride, feel free to send me a note

I am GOING to ride from Fairborn Ohio, into downtown Dayton, stopping off at this little deli for some rye bread on the way.

Tomorrow will be a long awaited ride to Troy, Ohio (county seat of Miami County), via the bus and bike path, then all the way from Troy into downtown Dayton.

Heres a map:
The Miami Valley Bike Trails | Miami Valley Bike Trails

....ill be riding trail #25 tomorrow, and trails #8 & #5 today.

Depsite the "Miami" moniker in the place names, no palm trees and the weather certainly isnt tropical here!!! lol....

Just a short 14.5 mile loop today. The hills were really killing me, so when I got home I used Bike Route Toaster to analyze my route, and despite what it felt like it was only about 640 feet of climbing. I need to get better at climbing.
