Which article said she was speeding. All the ones I read said minor traffic violation, which I find odd they don't divulge the specific reason he pulled her over.
I'm just referring to what's been said here. I have not seen the specifics in any article, and I doubt that this is verifiable considering no citation was issued, unless I missed something in the bodycam footage.

Ok, thanks. I have not read any specifics either. The media seems to be weirdly quiet about it.
IMO, that is what is wrong with the justice system. It is based on financial incentives, not justice.
I don't see how the officer did not treat her well. He could have written her a big ol' speeding ticket, he advised her to file a police report. What more could he do, hold her and tell her everything's gonna be alright while he wiped the tears from her eyes.
Maybe the officer could've asked her "Would you like a police escort to the police station to file a report?"
She apparently was terrified. Maybe the officer could've said that to ANY woman who was being chased?

Yep. It sounded like he was taking the side of the menace paparazzi and no empathy for her being in distress. Just not writing her a ticket doesn't make him a hero. It isn't fair to assume that she's cry acting or that she can't be upset about this because she is famous. Who knows how bad the photogs were behaving this time, possibly very aggressively. Cop could have said I understand why you are upset and if you believe you are being harassed or threatened you can always file a police report, get a description and license plate of the vehicle if possible. But we don't want to see you or anyone getting hurt out here either, so please be careful to drive safely.
I recently saw a video, also from Florida I believe, where a realtor was assaulted by a man at an open house. The report is taken, the man is arrested and in the back of the cruiser. The man, who had initially denied even being at the house but later admitted it, is whining and calling the woman a liar, and the cop says to the guy "sorry this is happening to you".
We have a real problem here. I'm afraid too often the wrong kind of people are in law enforcement. Sometimes doing the minimum to get by isn't enough. We had problems in my old city and they started a community policing program, which did help with relations between the community and law enforcement.

He asked her “Do you need anything else? Can I assist you in anything else?” Apparently she did not want to file a police report.
She was clearly upset, I don't know about terrified. I'm sure she has encounters with paparazzi on a regular basis. And it is not like she could identify anyone chasing her. She said she was "trying to stay away from that guy".

Perhaps they should call a social worker then. It is not an officer's job to coddle people. She was not a victim of a crime, she was pulled over for a traffic violation.
He told her she could file a police report, he asked if there was anything else he could help her with. He did not see what happened, he was not given any description of "the guy" or vehicle or license plate, how is he supposed to do anything else? He was polite and no one said he was a hero for not writing a ticket but I bet if it were you or I speeding through traffic we would have gotten one, "I was trying to stay away from that guy" would have gotten us no pass.

Right social worker or even DCf if kids were in the car with her.

Some more information came in that she was able to ID the pap and the officer did speak with him. Now if the officer had told Gisele he was going to do this instead of "nothing I can do", there would not be this criticism. The chief said officers are being trained to deal with paparazzi since they are probably still going to be around.
They may be allowed to take photos in public but to cause dangerous traffic situations in doing so should be addressed.
