I like flip N burger but is really sits hard on my tummy. No way could I eat a burger and fries.

I liked the grandmas pancake house, but was surprised there was no grandma there. All the employees were hispanic.

If you are coming to Crossville I suggest bringing your own lunch unless you can be happy at a fast food joint.
The best one or most frequented is Hardee's in the Kroger shopping center.

If you are coming to FFG I suggest Legends for lunch.

Now now, its not all doom and gloom. There are chain restaraunts and several small diners on the west end, although I cant vouch for their food since I've not eaten there.
There is cracker barrel, the beef barrel, Golden corral, Ruby Tuesdays, Cancun, Petros. Not near the selection Cookeville has but more than Hardees.

Another one of my favorite restaurants in Cookeville is the floating restaurant at the Cookeville Boat Dock on Center Hill Lake. They prepare catfish caught right there just outside the restaurant. Unfortunately, it's closed from October to April. But I'm there as soon as it opens again in April!

There's no Golden Corral in Crossville, but there is a Ryan's. Lefty's & Vegas Steakhouse are the 2 best options there. Red's in FFg is pretty good too.

I thought that Ryans was better before they changed. They now have a smaller selection and higher prices.
Some other decent restaurants in Crossville are; Genesis Italian Grill and the Asian Dynasty and Tokyo Steak House.
Stay far away from Peking Buffet.
