The hard truth is states in particular have rolled back college funding, relativistically anyway, in order to pay for social side spending that you demand. IOW you've caused your own problem via voting pattern.


The SJ angle to this is that most college attendees are/come from families that are much wealthier than those at the social-economic bottom. Logic being college students deserve largess less than poor people with fewer options. Spending money to cover your tuition/books/homework takes the same away from some direct social aid, say cans of beans.


This pains me greatly as an illustration..........California very well funded its UC system schools for many years and the spillover successes were/have been so great such is hard to quantify. CA is now strangling its UC system because it spends so much on social welfare.

Anyway, my point was that these homework charges are not extortion.

I think both of you have completely missed the point. It's yet another expense and yet another fee. You bought books and you have online access. It's bull you should pay more just to access it. The costs of college are out if control and this is yet another example.
