I just came back from a trip to Chicago. The temps aren't that bad but the wind is wicked. I think it felt a bit damp though. Minneapolis feels a lot more dry than Chicago does.

Chicago really isn't that brutal in the winter, just can be uncomfortable with the wind and cloudiness. When the sun shines it feels nice.

Lol Alberta clippers are nothing. Light snow systems that bring like 1 to 3" of snow. Hardly a blizzard. Not even a snowstorm.

Global warming is a liberal hoax. Sarcasm.

"There is no inappropriate weather, only inappropriate clothing."

I am always amazed when I hear people complaining about the weather and they still dress like it's September. Merino wool is your friend and learn to layer up. I ski in negative temps, I have waited for the bus in negative temps and I've camped outside in below freezing temps. You just have to learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable, but seriously buy some great hunting base/outside layers as the gear is made for sitting outside in very cold temps. Sitka Gear, First Lite are a few brands. My wife doesn't hunt but she runs outside year round and even she has found that hunting gear is just the best stuff around.

The worst months for me are March to May. It's often still cold and overcast and it's so depressing after several months of winter.
